This character is the senior and neighbor of the main protagonist, Tsubasa Shiki. Rena stands out as a high achiever, having clinched the top-scorer position and winning the beauty pageant consecutively twice.

The anime is an adaptation of the romantic comedy manga penned by Kai Ikada. Initially, the manga began as a one-shot, but due to its popularity, it was serialized in Shonen Jump+ starting from 2019. Manga Plus provides a glimpse into the story:
High school boy Tsubasa moves to Kitami City in Hokkaido, where he stumbles upon a “gal” at a bus stop. The sight of her standing solitarily against the snowy backdrop, her legs bare despite the chilling cold, leaves an indelible mark on his heart.
